丁 飞先生，现为《艺苑》主编、南京尚宝画院执行院长，香港中国画研究院副院长。擅长山水和花鸟，涉猎人物、研习书法，略通史论。
Mr. Ding Fei, current editor in chief of the Art Gallery magazine, executive director of the Nanjing Shangbao Art Gallery, vice director of the Hong Kong Chinese Painting Institute. He is especially skilled in landscape and flower & bird paintings, and occasionally creates figure painting. He has a profound knowledge and talent for calligraphy and has a passion for history.
祖籍浙江象山，1970年4月生于江苏涟水，成长在黄海之滨连云港，曾自署草牧、浪公。
Born in April, 1970, in Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province, China, with his ancestral hometown in Xiangshan City, Zhejiang Province, Ding Fei grew up in Lianyungang City, bordering on the Yellow Sea. He began his art career creating works under the pseudonym of Caomu and Langgong.
先后就读于淮阴师范学院、南京艺术学院美术系。他以扎实的传统技法为基础，以深厚的文学修养和绘画知识,结合其独特的审美和思维方式，创造出清雅飘逸的画风，作品钤印“丁飞牛屎”、“如梦方觉”，宣示了一种前无古人的独到艺术感悟。
He studied in Huaiyin Normal University and the Fine Arts department of Nanjing Arts Institute. Mastering the traditional techniques, with great accomplishment in literature and knowledge of painting, integrating his unique taste and original view, he creates an elegant and sublime style of painting. His seals imprinting “ Ding Fei Niu Shi ” ( Niu Shi Literally means bullshit, metaphorically means good things with ugly appearance in Chinese culture.) and “ Ru Meng Fang Jue ” ( Awakening from a dream ) declare an unprecedented and unique appreciation of the arts.
曾多次在国内外举办个展和联展；著有《丁飞》、《丁飞墨痕》和《丁飞印象》以及《丁飞书法集》。
He has held many solo exhibitions and numerous exhibitions in collaboration with other artists, and published several books, including “ The Painting Collections ”, “ The Ink Marks”, “ The Impression ” and “ The Calligraphy Collections by Ding Fei ”.
其书法兼善诸体，以行书、篆书见长。作品高雅超逸中见清远，纵横恣肆中见奇崛，雄伟苍劲中见性情。曾多次参加全国大展并屡屡获奖；曾被黄河碑林刻石，为香港、大连、连云港、南京等都城市企业大厦、酒店创作大型书画，为书籍、网络题辞；为博物馆及为海内外收藏家创作手卷、册页和题赐书斋名。
He is a master of all styles of Chinese character calligraphy, especially good at Semi Cursive Script ( Running Script ) and Seal Script ( Small Seal ). His works are refined and sublime, embodying extraordinary elegance. His work is also unhindered and unrestrained, bold and magnificent, indicative of his temperament and excellence. His exhibited works have won numerous prizes. His works have been carved in stone in Huang He Bei Lin ( Yellow Sea Tablets Forest ). He has made mural paintings & calligraphy for hotels and companies in many places, like Hong Kong, Dalian, Lianyungang, Nanjing. He also has provided inscriptions on books and on the websites as well as for study chambers, and created innumerable scrolls and albums for museums and collectors all over the world.
